Oetting Alchemy LLC, a Kansas limited liability company (“Oetting Alchemy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit oettingalchemy.com (the “Site”), request a resource, book a call, or otherwise communicate with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information you provide to us. When you request a resource such as the OA Tactical Playbook, we collect your name, title, organization, and email address, and whether you would like to receive email communications from us. When you schedule a call through our scheduling provider, you provide your name, email address, and the details needed to book the meeting. When you contact us by email, we retain the correspondence and any information you include in it.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 4.
We use the information we collect to deliver the resources you request; to send you Oetting Alchemy insights and updates if you have opted in to receive them; to schedule and conduct calls you book with us; to respond to your inquiries; to operate, maintain, and improve the Site; to understand how visitors use the Site; and to comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Service providers. We use third-party providers to perform services on our behalf, including Google (website analytics), Automattic (Jetpack site statistics and related services), Calendly (scheduling), MailPoet (email delivery), and our website hosting provider. These providers may access your information only as needed to perform their services for us and are obligated to protect it.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Oetting Alchemy, our clients, or others.
Business transfers. If Oetting Alchemy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and understand how it is used. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by your browser. We use Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats to collect aggregated information about Site traffic and usage, such as which pages are visited and for how long. This information does not identify you to us by name. Google’s use of data is governed by its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use the Site.
The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including LinkedIn and Calendly. Those websites and services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with our legal obligations. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we retain your email address on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Email communications. You may unsubscribe from our email communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send or by contacting us at the address below.
Access, correction, and deletion. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@oettingalchemy.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
California residents. California law permits residents to request certain information about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
